Sonia Edwards, a native of Llangefni, Anglesey, has won the Literary Medal for 2017 at the National Eisteddfod in Anglesey for her novel Rhannu Ambarél.
This year’s medal is presented for a volume of creative prose of no more than 40,000 words, on the theme of ‘Cysgodion’ (‘Shadows’). The adjudicators were Francesca Rhydderch, Lleucu Roberts and Gerwyn Williams.
