Rily Publications celebrating St. Davids Day - 20 February 2017

Cyfrinachau'r Ddaear  (an adaptation of Secrets of Our Earth by Elin Meek) is full of the world’s wonders; volcanoes, space, rainforests and lots more. This is a lovely blend of simple yet informative text, with bright, attractive artwork. The Earth's secrets actually become apparent when you light a torch behind each page!

For slightly older children,  Gwyddoniadur y Pethau Pwysig Iawn  (Siân Lewis' adaptation of The Encyclopaedia of Very Important Things) is brimming with facts and information to help us understand our world, and to answer those head-scratching questions which plague us all at times; both children and adults! How great to search in a book for a change, instead of asking the Web!

And finally, the bold and beautiful,  Atlas Lluniau Mawr  (Siân Lewis' adaptation of Usborne's Big Picture Atlas). This book is so crammed with information that it is sure to make a big impression! Within the covers of this giant lies all sorts of facts about the world's most interesting places; including traditions and indigenous animals, as well as pictures, flags and the capital cities of each country. The perfect educational resource.

Rily will be launching a 'like and share' St David's Day competition on Facebook next week, to give away a set of these three factual books. The winner will be announced on March 1st! So celebrate St David's Day with Rily and learn more about our world through Welsh!
