Tony Bianchi has been awarded the Literary Medal at the 2015 National Eisteddfod for his novel, Dwy Farwolaeth Endaf Rowlands.
This year’s medal is presented for a volume of creative prose of no more than 40,000 words, on the theme of 'Dwy/Dau' ('Two'). The adjudicators were Mari Emlyn, Jerry Hunter andManon Steffan Ros.
Dwy Farwolaeth Endaf Rowlands: This is the story of defective washing machines, a former mill and its iron pillars in Cardiff, the late Eric Morecambe’s coat and, above all, the sound of a backbone decaying.
