If you belong to a reading group and want the chance to have a famous author visit your group, all you have to do is send a short review of any book that you have read and discussed in your reading group during the last six months to delyth.humphreys@wbc.org.uk by 29 January 2010.
The two authors in question are the accomplished Catrin Dafydd and Fflur Dafydd. Catrin will visit the English language group and Fflur the Welsh one. Both these authors have had a tremendous year with Catrin’s novel Random Deaths and Custard being short listed for Spread the Word: Books to Talk About 2009 and Fflur winning the Daniel Owen Memorial Prize at the 2009 National Eisteddfod for her novel Y Llyfrgell. And, in addition to the visit, each member of the winning reading group will receive a signed copy of one of the author’s books.
To have a chance of winning, don’t forget to e-mail your short review to delyth.humphreys@wbc.org.uk by January 2010. The author visits will be part of the World Book Day 2010 celebrations.
