Publishers are invited once again to submit books to be considered for the bi-annual Roland Mathias Prize, which is presented for Welsh writing in English within a number of different categories.
The categories for the £2,000 prize are poetry, short stories, literary criticism and work of history, reflecting the main interests of Roland Mathias, who played a major role in establishing and developing Welsh writing in English as a distinctive literary genre.
The Prize will be awarded in the spring of 2007 under the auspices of the Brecknock Society and Museum Friends. Please contact glynmathias@aol.com for further details.
