There was a warm welcome awaiting the author Anthony Horowitz on his recent visit to the Urdd Youth Eisteddfod at Ruthin. He was there to promote the Welsh translation of one of his novels. Tarandon is published by Dref Wen and has been translated by Grey Evans. ‘There was a crowd of excited children and teenagers there to meet the author,’ said Menna Lloyd Williams, Head of the Children’s Books Department, ‘and the new title sold like hot cakes.’
